THIS IS THE ORDER IN WHICH YOU WILL DO THINGS

Here´s the detailed explanation of what you need to do and the ORDER in which you will do it. Please make sure that you don´t skip any step or you will be penalized.

STEP 1

Form groups of 4 members and assign a role to each member. (Two will be therapists, 1 a teacher, and 1 a student)

STEP 2

You will investigate the problems that Spanish speakers have with English pronunciation. You will visit the sites on RESOURCES (the next section) and elaborate a table with the problems that you have found. The finished table will be sent to the teacher at hector_salazar_sorcia@hotmail.com

STEP 3

After you discover the problems that Spanish speakers face, you will come up with a possible solution for each problem. Here you will have to create a graphic organizer (concept map, mind map, spider web map, etc.) with the solutions that you found. You need to have AT LEAST 2 solutions for each problem. You will send the completed map to the e-mail in step 2.

STEP 4

After you have the solutions, you need to come up with activities for each of the solutions. You will come up with an activity for each of the solution; you will then discuss among each other and decided on ONE solution and ONE activity for each problem. Once you decided on each solution you will write an explanation of each activity and send it to the e-mail mentioned above (use a word document or a pdf)

STEP 5

If you have the solutions, now you´re ready to start on your tutorial. ALL the members in the team will elaborate the script for the video tutorial. Remember that the script must include the time, audio, and video sections. Check out the example format HERE. Send the script to the teacher´s e-mail for approval.

STEP 6

After you receive the approval on your script you will record your video. Make sure that the video and audio quality are good. Edit your video and add a CREDITS sections at the end.

STEP 7

Publish your video to youtube and send the link to the teacher´s e-mail.

Success! Message received.
